Dense Fog Machine
This spectral booster plugin will try to fill all the holes in your audio with smoke.
Be careful not to over-use this effect though. Artifacts will start appearing at too extreme settings.
Clicks and stuttering? This plugin uses CPU in spikes, which is nasty.
Increase your audio device buffer size to a ridiculously large size to avoid this.
It also adds latency to your DAW.
Currently there's no better fix for this, I'm afraid.
How To Use
- Leave Mix Ratio at 100%.
- Crank up the Amount a bit too far (but not 100%, which is just insane).
- Now find the buffer size that sounds best with your music.
- Turn Amount back down to a reasonable level.
This is how I originally intended for the plugin to be used, but of course, abuse is always interesting.
