Suggested nameSidaspon Pho
Planet typeCold planet
Sidaspon Pho is similar in composition to Praxeuke-ara, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. This cold planet is named after the deity Sidaspon Pho, the messenger of chaos.

The polar regions are constantly below 180°K (-93°C).

Sidaspon Pho is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.

Sidaspon Pho's hazy atmosphere make observation of its surface challenging in infrared light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 26 years ago. Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Sidaspon Pho's strong magnetosphere.

Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Sidaspon Pho 1700 and ExoSidaspon Pho rovers.

A prominent result is the "great white spot", a giant storm that is known to have existed for centuries since it was first seen by telescope.
