Suggested nameBeke
Planet typeHot gas giant
This hot gas giant is named after the deity Beke, the creator of love and beauty.

The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to XO-5, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 174 days.

The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 20 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature.

Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Beke approached its equinox 6 years ago.
