| It is named after the deity Ylun, the demon of war.
The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to WASP-91, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 87 days.
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly five times for every three revolutions it makes around WASP-91.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
Two of Ylun's moons, Kewa and Nigazo'pota, are are quite unusually shaped. These may be captured asteroids similar to Ceres.
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other hot gas giants, Ylun lacks a well-defined magnetic field.
The Ylun system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit.
The surface of this scary planet is often crowded with barbaric and poisonous technological beings called the "Geqa-s". They feed by devouring the Iviweni plant. Geqa-s are similar to the Dydufes Afo but have fur and vary in size from 30 to 53 meters. The Geqa-s are able to reproduce at temperatures from 20 to 40°C and predators attacking. |
