Fictional info (?)
Suggested nameWakaechu
Planet typeLarge hot gas giant
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly two times for every two revolutions it makes around WASP-43.

Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 170°K (-103°C) at night to 910°K (637°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.

The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 25 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature.
