| Fictional info (?) |
| Suggested name | Jacha |
| Planet type | Huge hot gas giant |
| The polar regions are constantly below 279°K (6°C).
It may have had oxygen oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
This dark place is mostly known for its unpredictable yet stone-age plants, the "Zesejamo", that spend their life in the air by eating the somewhat smaller "Tekyu-ogonyo" at night. They are not similar to the Pyamu-nya but have 6 tentacles and vary in length from 60 to 70 cm. They can thrive at temperatures from 70 to 90°C but are killed by stormy weather. |
