| It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Choheja'iso, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, often, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
This planet is named after the deity Zefu, the goddess of prosperity.
Zefu is gravitationally locked with OGLE-2018-BLG-1647 in a 3:2 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system. An observer on Zefu would therefore see only one summer every five years.
As one of the most noticeable objects in the sky, Zefu has been a major inspiration in native folklore for as long as records have existed. |
