As seen from OGLE-2018-BLG-0298, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years. An observer on Euryme would therefore see only one sunset every two years.
Euryme is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 631°K (358°C). It may have had ozone oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Euryme are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons. |
