| The planet is named after the deity Yongzh, the messenger of love and beauty.
The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to OGLE-2017-BLG-1038, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 81 days.
Yongzh's surface appears extremely rippled and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.
The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 0.0019 bar, or roughly the pressure found 945 m under the oceans of Geng-swos Wen. Yongzh is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 522°K (249°C).
The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 17 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature. |
