Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Lidomenus |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
The water has probably photodissociated, and the free methane has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a planetary magnetic field.
Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
The largest moon is populated by barbaric primitive insects, the "Iadaph Rhea", which survive hidden in craters while consuming a substance called "Moslade" at night. They are closely similar to the Theme Prosnaq but with 2 legs and vary in length from 17 to 42 cm. Iadaph Rhea are known to thrive at temperatures from -30 to -10°C and even severe infection. |
