Fictional info (?)
Suggested nameEshikyu Pyugo
Planet typeCold planet
It is named after the deity Eshikyu Pyugo, the god of the sky.

As seen from Kepler-546, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.

Eshikyu Pyugo's axis has the smallest tilt of any of its solar system's planets. Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 100°K (-173°C) at night to 700°K (427°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.

Two spacecraft have visited Eshikyu Pyugo: Wayfinder 7 flew by 45 years ago; and Messenger, launched 26 years ago, orbited Eshikyu Pyugo over 55 times in four years before exhausting its reactor and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 9 years later.

Eshikyu Pyugo is a cold planet and is sometimes called Runa'sanu's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to Kepler-546, and bulk composition.

It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.

In 3476, images from Wayfinder 8 showed Eshikyu Pyugo as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other cold planets.

The cruel lakes are crowded with strange and poisonous plants called the "Nriyu-byumi". They feed while devouring the Piape Pabupya plant Nriyu-byumi are related to Kyopa-hyochi but have 5 eyes and vary in size from 80 to 160 cm. The Nriyu-byumi are known to endure temperatures from 130 to 220°C and even a limited degree of radiation.
