Suggested nameRexe Wip
Planet typeCold planet
Rexe Wip is similar in composition to Avyni Pyb, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. Rexe Wip's atmosphere is similar to Avyni Pyb's in its primary composition of carbon monoxide and ethane, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. This cold planet is named after the deity Rexe Wip, the god of the underworld.

The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Rexe Wip are likewise similar to those of Avyni Pyb, as is the tilt that produces the seasons. Rexe Wip is the site of Olympus Mons, the biggest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.

The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 14 meters. The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Lake Superior.

Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
