This cold planet is named after the deity Qwahwan Lyang, the demon of chaos.
Qwahwan Lyang is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
Qwahwan Lyang can easily be seen from Yefyong with the naked eye, as can its yellowish coloring. |
