Suggested namePegun-or
Planet typeCold planet
This planet is named after the deity Pegun-or, the messenger of chaos.

It has the densest atmosphere of the three cold planets, consisting primarily of hydrogen chloride.

The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Pegun-or are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.

Pegun-or is primarily composed of hydrogen chloride with a significant part of its mass being ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH), though ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) comprises only about a limited fraction of the number of molecules. It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other cold planets, Pegun-or lacks a well-defined magnetic field.

Pegun-or has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Daedalus flyby missions and later by the Galileo orbiter.
