Suggested nameEpifran'xiad
Planet typeCold planet
Epifran'xiad is the oldest planet known belonging to Kepler-1547 and one of the largest in its solar system. When viewed from Iakaidi, Epifran'xiad can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. This cold planet is named after the deity Epifran'xiad, the creator of good fortune.

Like Iakaidi, Epifran'xiad has been orbiting Kepler-1547 within Ananda's orbit as an inferior planet, and never moves more than 27 degrees away from Kepler-1547.

As seen from Kepler-1547, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.

The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 0.15 bar, or roughly the pressure found 675 m under the oceans of Iakaidi. Epifran'xiad's surface is a barren desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.

Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Iakaidi, Ananda, and Kepler-1547.
