Suggested nameApatum-y
Planet typeSmall cold gas planet
The planet is named after the deity Apatum-y, the demon of hate.

Apatum-y's surface appears slightly cratered and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.

Apatum-y was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.

Apatum-y is the site of Robusto Tower, the tallest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.

In November 1300, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Apatum-y.

Apatum-y is primarily composed of nitric oxide with a significant part of its mass being hydrogen chloride, though hydrogen chloride comprises only about a limited fraction of the number of molecules. It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other small cold gas planets, Apatum-y lacks a well-defined solid surface.
