It is named after the deity Ijitea'ripe, the goddess of hate. Like Hoeeu'umna, Ijitea'ripe has been orbiting KMT-2018-BLG-2718 for @STARAGE billion years, and never exceeds 24 degrees away from KMT-2018-BLG-2718. Two spacecraft have visited Ijitea'ripe: Daedalus 6 flew by 24 years ago; and Messenger, launched 14 years ago, orbited Ijitea'ripe over 155 times in four years before exhausting its reactor and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 8 years later.
