Suggested nameDaphkebian
Planet typeCold planet
Orbiting within Tarsi's orbit, Daphkebian is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from @STARNAME; its maximum angular distance from @STARNAME (elongation) is 29 degrees.

It is named after the deity Daphkebian, the messenger of chaos.

The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 7 meters.

Daphkebian has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Frontier flyby missions and later by the Hotchins orbiter.

The surface of this sinister planet is dangerous because of the friendly but interesting carnivores known as "Anan'aitan'mede". They survive hidden in craters while consuming anything they find. Most of them are related to the Culopsa'tus, have fur and vary in size from 30 to 60 mm. Anan'aitan'mede can thrive at temperatures from -50 to 20°C and to some degree ultra violet light.
