Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Carke |
Planet type | Hot planet |
Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 50°K (-223°C) at night to 700°K (427°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.
This planet is populated by small earth-like plants known as "Hipina Qeq". They spend their life in lakes by finding nourishment in a substance called "Ahetar Porsur" if they can. Most Hipina Qeq are related to the Phaëan An but have 8 eyes and vary in size from 40 to 50 mm. Hipina Qeq are able to withstand temperatures from 120 to 170°C and even the acidic environment. |
