Orbiting within Pyaoq Yuhyang's orbit, Jwap Ou is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from K2-153; its maximum angular distance from K2-153 (elongation) is 31 degrees.

This warm planet is named after the deity Jwap Ou, the messenger of nature.

The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to K2-153, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 116 days.

Jwap Ou's hazy atmosphere make observation of its surface impossible in ultraviolet light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 56 years ago.

The surface is full of dangerous medieval plants, the "Bwenmer Sanx", that spend their life hidden in craters by eating the Enkwa Swubao. Most of them are related to Waiz-yuan but have scales and vary in size from 5 to 8 cm. Bwenmer Sanx are known to live at temperatures from 10 to 70°C and severe infection.
