Suggested nameAriel
Planet typeHot planet
Ariel is similar in composition to Surer, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger hot planets. It is named after the deity Ariel, the god of fear.

Two spacecraft have visited Ariel: Daedalus 8 flew by 53 years ago; and Messenger, launched 10 years ago, orbited Ariel over 160 times in four years before exhausting its pwoer source and crashing into the planet's surface 8 years later.

Two of Ariel's moons, Bosbos'brielcha and Deslene-eury, are are quite unusually shaped.

Ariel can easily be seen from Surer with the naked eye, as can its greenish coloring.
