Suggested nameSahyo'abusu-ho
Planet typeHuge cold gas giant
Its orbital period around HD 73256 of 2700 earth days is the longest of all the planets in its solar system. It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Motofu-isu, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, rarely, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.

Sahyo'abusu-ho and Motofu-isu are huge cold gas giants rich in rock. It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 25°K (-248°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with 2H2O thought to make up the lowest clouds, and hydrogen deuteride (HD) the uppermost layer of clouds. This huge cold gas giant is named after the deity Sahyo'abusu-ho, the god of nature.

The polar regions are constantly below 288°K (15°C).

Two spacecraft have visited Sahyo'abusu-ho: Daedalus 8 flew by 17 years ago; and Messenger, launched 9 years ago, orbited Sahyo'abusu-ho over 50 times in four years before exhausting its pwoer source and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 12 years later.

It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
