This planet is named after the deity Rimaqy-bedan, the demon of hate.
When viewed from Omomuno Ne, this proximity to HD 47366 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
It may have had argon oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on. |
