Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 120°K (-153°C) at night to 1050°K (777°C) during the day across the equatorial regions. The polar regions are constantly below 315°K (42°C).
Like the other hot gas giants, Cyes has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Ryaoc Yong being the least famous one. |
