| Xwen is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Xwen is orbiting HAT-P-32 every 2.2 Earth days.
Xwen's atmosphere is similar to Neng Zh's in its primary composition of H2O, and He, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. This hot gas giant is named after the deity Xwen, the god of the underworld.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the past habitability potential of Xwen, as well as the possibility of extant life.
One of this planet's arid moons is said to have strange earth-like insects, the "Yichou", which feed on the ground by finding nourishment in plants. Yichou are not similar to the Aonwei Chwan but with 8 arms and vary in size from 70 to 150 meters. Most Yichou are able to live at temperatures from 10 to 90°C and high atmospheric pressure. |
