Suggested nameEpipan Nus
Planet typeCold planet
This planet is named after the deity Epipan Nus, the god of love and beauty.

Two spacecraft have visited Epipan Nus: Wayfinder 10 flew by 51 years ago; and Messenger, launched 14 years ago, orbited Epipan Nus over 160 times in four years before exhausting its reactor and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 12 years later.

Epipan Nus's hazy clouds make observation of its surface impossible in visible light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 26 years ago.
