Fictional info (?)
Suggested nameMiuta
Planet typeCold planet
The planet is named after the deity Miuta, the messenger of the sky.

Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 110°K (-163°C) at night to 1120°K (847°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.

Miuta is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light.

In November 2000, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Miuta.
