Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Sexesuz Axos |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to CHXR 73 A, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 151 days.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 16 meters.
