Shazega Nya has been known to astronomers since the beginning of the space age. The planet is named after the deity Shazega Nya, the spirit of the sky.
Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
Like a few of the other cold gas giants, Shazega Nya has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons, Mebo Robe being the most recognizable one. |
