| Cocep is the smallest and most round planet in its solar system.
This planet is named after the deity Cocep, the bringer of war.
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly five times for every three revolutions it makes around KIC 9663113.
Cocep is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light. It may have had helium oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
Cocep can easily be seen from Anezugi with the naked eye, as can its redish coloring.
The largest moon, Nutigi Nyqip, has a diameter greater than that of the planet Neptune. |
