Suggested nameLarisska Uqad
Planet typeHot planet
Orbiting within Hynis Cho's orbit, Larisska Uqad is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from Kepler-286; its maximum angular distance from Kepler-286 (elongation) is 82 degrees.

The interior of Larisska Uqad is mainly composed of ices and stone. The planet is named after the deity Larisska Uqad, the spirit of good fortune.

Larisska Uqad is gravitationally locked with Kepler-286 in a 5:4 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.

Larisska Uqad's axis has the smallest tilt of any of its solar system's planets.

Two spacecraft have visited Larisska Uqad: Wayfinder 9 flew by 44 years ago; and Messenger, launched 21 years ago, orbited Larisska Uqad over 155 times in four years before exhausting its pwoer source and crashing into the planet's surface 12 years later.

Larisska Uqad's dense clouds make observation of its surface challenging in ultraviolet light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 44 years ago.

Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators.
