Fictional info (?)
Suggested nameTaikoc
Planet typeCold planet
It is named after the deity Taikoc, the goddess of war.

Like Lwei Bwang, Taikoc has been orbiting HIP 105854 for @STARAGE billion years, and never exceeds 16 degrees away from HIP 105854. When viewed from Lwei Bwang, this proximity to HIP 105854 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning. The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to HIP 105854, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 128 days.

Two spacecraft have visited Taikoc: Daedalus 9 flew by 24 years ago; and Messenger, launched 26 years ago, orbited Taikoc over 75 times in four years before exhausting its plasma drive and crashing into the planet's surface 8 years later.

Taikoc is by far the hottest planet in its solar system, with a mean surface temperature of 479°K (206°C).

The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Taikoc are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
