Suggested nameEbocir
Planet typeCold planet
Ebocir is the oldest planet known belonging to HD 41004 A and one of the oldest in its solar system. It is named after the deity Ebocir, the spirit of war.

Having almost no atmosphere to retain heat, it has surface temperatures that vary diurnally more than on any other planet in its solar system, ranging from 105°K (-168°C) at night to 350°K (77°C) during the day across the equatorial regions.

It has the densest atmosphere of all the cold planets, consisting primarily of oxygen.

Ebocir is primarily composed of oxygen with a significant part of its mass being water, though water comprises only about a tiny fraction of the number of molecules. A prominent result is the "great white spot", a giant storm that is known to have existed for centuries since it was first seen by telescope.

The scary lakes are known for its strange yet primordial technological beings called the "Onef-a". They feed in lakes by killing smaller pray if it is available. The Onef-a are related to the Anepus, have fur and vary in length from 70 to 90 cm. Most Onef-a can endure temperatures from 80 to 150°C and even high atmospheric pressure.
