| Epec-edin Og is the fourth planet from HD 25723 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system.
For this reason, scientists often classify Epec-edin Og and Oweve as "cold planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. This planet is named after the deity Epec-edin Og, the demon of dreams.
Two spacecraft have visited Epec-edin Og: Wayfinder 10 flew by 21 years ago; and Messenger, launched 8 years ago, orbited Epec-edin Og over 160 times in four years before exhausting its fuel and crashing into the planet's atmosphere 9 years later.
The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 9 meters.
The pleasant lakes are crowded with odd yet advanced plants known as "Yfuwar-avyv". They spend their life on the ground by consuming another species called Vojise Ner Most of them are not related to the Myriqyr-efix but with 10 tentacles and vary in length from 3 to 4 cm. Yfuwar-avyv are known to withstand temperatures from -60 to -40°C and to some degree electrical shock which is rare on this planet. |
