Suggested nameChasimoon
Planet typeCold planet
It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.

This cold planet is named after the deity Chasimoon, the bringer of prosperity.

Chasimoon is gravitationally locked with 24 Sex in a 2:1 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system. As seen from 24 Sex, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two years.

Two spacecraft have visited Chasimoon: Frontier 8 flew by 39 years ago; and Messenger, launched 20 years ago, orbited Chasimoon over 75 times in four years before exhausting its pwoer source and crashing into the planet's surface 9 years later.

As the closest planet to Lelenethi, Chasimoon has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.

In 1291, images from Frontier 3 showed Chasimoon as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other cold planets.
